Man Pleads Guilty To Burglary Charges Stemming From Theft Ring

A man pled guilty Tuesday for his involvement in a theft ring that had been operating in Anderson County for several months in 2011.
Tommy Michael McClain, pled guilty to five counts of receiving stolen goods, four counts of
grand larceny, third-degree burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle. While the prosecution
asked for more prison time, Judge Alex Macaulay sentenced McClain to 10 years in prison.

Following an extensive investigation that lasted several months, McClain was picked up as part of a large theft ring. The thefts took place in various locations in Anderson County and involved mostly vehicles and large equipment.
McClain is currently serving a six year prison sentence for violating probation for similar charges!
