Charged With 2 Counts of Kidnapping, Burglary 1 st. Police: Man arrested for assaulting pregnant girlfriend, baby

According to Simpsonville Police Department officials, Larry Anthony Ladson Jr. was arrested in connection with a burglary, kidnapping and domestic violence that took place on Jan. 25.
Officers went to Maple Court Apartments after a report of a black male kicking in the door to apartment No. 14, said police.
Officers were told that the man had assaulted a female and small child, forced them into a vehicle and had left the scene. Ladson was spotted in the area and was apprehended after attempting to flee from the SUV.
According to officers, Ladson has been charged with first-degree burglary, two counts of kidnapping, high and aggravated criminal domestic violence, and three counts of first degree assault and battery.
Ladson is at the Greenville County Detention Center with no bond. Both of the victims were taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
