 Council voted Tuesday night to give him back pay for his 14 months off the job, which adds up to nearly $86,000.  ( !!?? )  WAIT TIL YOU READ FURTHER DOWN .. WANTS A 7 YEAR / $ 112,000.00 CONTRACT TOO .... ( or he'll sue )  JACKASS !

The Council also Voted to Demote now Former Chief Steve Moore to Deputy Chief, but keep him at his current salary of nearly $76,000 a year. Before being promoted to chief, Moore made about $44,000.

Newly reinstated Simpsonville Police Chief Keith Grounsell threw people at City Hall for a Flip when He said, " he knows nothing about his controversial proposed job contract. "  ( ?? )

 Proposed Terms of Employment : The Chief Grounsell, Wants a 7 Year deal that includes MORE than $112,000 in back pay and a salary bump -- all with the catch that Grounsell wouldn't sue the city over his firing if these demands were met.

Greer and Mauldin are of Similar in Size to Simpsonville. Neither of their Police Chiefs have Contracts ...
