Mother Asleep Inside
Man Arrested for Setting his Home on Fire with his Mom still Inside.
On October 1 firefighters were called to Parks Lane in Union for a House Fire.
Union County Deputies and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Investigated the Fire and determined it had been started with accelerants'.
William Allen Wallace, 41, was interviewed by SLED and admitted he started the Fire.
He was taken into custody on October 2 and Charged with Arson 3rd Degree and Two Counts of Attempted Murder.
Attempted Murder Charges were Filed because Two Elderly Females were Inside the Home, Asleep while the Fire was Started. One of the Women was Wallace's Mother.
Wallace was previously charged with Arson 3rd degree in July of 2010. He pled guilty and served two years probation. // ??
