Charges ?? Had A Prosecutor Tell Me Years Ago He Dropped The Dist. Of Crack

Cocaine Charges Simply Because The Suspect said, ' the pants he had on, with the crack in the

pocket, wasn't his pants. ' ( ? )    WHAT    .................................

 The Idiot Prosecutor Took A Known Drug Dealers Word

And Dismissed The Charges ?! ( not that he was standing on a street corner, at 2 am, with crack

in his pocket should make the prosecutor think otherwise. out slinging rock with cars pulling up

to buy. not his pants remember ?! ) That's Just One Of A Million Charges Dismissed.

 

A Lot of Good Officers Quit Because Of Crap Like This. Dismissing Charges When

Officers Had To Chase The Suspect Down. Then You Find A Gun In His Waist Band. Then

When You Run Him Through NCIC. You Have To Reload The Machine With Paper

Because His Rap Sheet Goes On Forever! Then Some Prosecutor Who Sets Behind A

Desk All Day. With A Stroke Of A Pen Dismisses A Perfectly Good "Solid" Case. ??

Night, " It's Like Thunderdome. ( Movie ) Two Men Enter, Only One Man Leave.

Shootings Skyrocketed Across The City Too. Especially Drive By

Shootings. People Out Selling Sheet Rock Instead Of Crack. The

Customer Would Come Back By And Shoot'em Up ! It Was Like

Dodge City For Sure. Crazy Stuff ....

 

That Night That Black Officer Told Me That, I Took It To Heart.

You See, We Didn't Have Pepper Spray Nor Stun Guns.

We Only Had What God Gave Us. 

 

Truth Be Told. Your Gun Was Useless If Someone Was Fighting You.

Drug Dealers' Ran Like The Wind And Fought You Like The Devil Himself.   

Especially Someone High On Crack and or PCP, ect. I've Seen It Take  3, 4 Officers To

Arrest One Man High On That Stuff. Remember, You Darn Well Can't Shoot'em.

So You Wrestled Them To The Ground. ( always take there legs out from under them. )

That Way They No Longer Have Leverage Against You. As 'JT' Told Me, " You Better

Be One Bad Ass White Boy To Work Zones 1, 2 and 4. "

 

He Spoke From Years Of Experience. And Spoke The Truth. 

I Learned Fast That Being Pale Skin and Blue Eyed Was A Sign Of

Weakness To Drug Dealers. So I Took 'JT' Wisdom To Heart and Became A Bad Ass

White Boy Against Drug Dealers. We All Got Shot At. Got Into Hundreds Of Foot Chases.

And Car Chases. Came Back To The Station Dirty and Sweaty From A Night Of Trying

To Clear The Streets Of Crack Dealers. It's Simply A Miracle No One Got Killed. Officers

Nor Crack Head Drug Dealers. It Attest To Officers Doing Their Very Best. Under Great

Stress To Clean Up Our City. ( it turned my stomach to see

my home town like this. ) 

 

'JT' Was A Military Man Of Many Years.

And A Police Officer With Loads Of Experience From The Streets. When

He Spoke, We Listened. He Told Myself On More Than One Occasion,

" Being White Down Here On These Streets Is A Disadvantage. They Will

Try You Boy. " Other Black Officers Spoke The Same Words.

And Sure Enough They Did.

 

They say Things Like, ' White Boy You Better Get Back In Your

Patrol Car. ' ' I'm Gonna Kick Your Ass White Boy. ' Just Simple

Threats Like That. I Can Say With A Clear Mind. I Never Left The

Scene Without Someone In The Back Seat Hand Cuffed. 'JT' Taught

Us Well. And Like The Citizens The Other Night On Dateline, NBC. I Too 

Was Mad At What Had Happened To My Home Town. I Locked Up As

Many Drug Dealers As My Slow Butt Could Catch. Plus Others Officers

And Us Would Flush Them Out By Driving Up Real Fast On A Corner

Selling Crack. And They'd Run Into Officers Hiding In The Bush's,

Behind Trees And Parked Cars. We'd get 2, 3 Maybe 4 Most Times.

Worked Night's Mostly And This System Worked Really Well ... 

 

Our Sgt.'s Would Try and Put Only Black Officers In Zones 1, 2 and 4 !

But There Just Wasn't Enough Black Officers To Cover The HOT Zones.

And With The Spread Of Crack Cocaine. We Had To Put More Officer's In

These Area's.  God Doesn't Make A lot Of  'JT' s !!

 

He Showed This Rookie What Was Really Going On In Our Streets !

 

If Someone From The Washington Post, NY Times or The News Less Courier, Chas.

Had Rode With Us. They'd Of Pissed Their Pants ............
