It’s honestly very difficult to think of a dumber idea than under funded police departments.
I used to work at a LAKE POLICE DEPARTMENT WITHOUT A BOAT. We had
to beg every year and never got one. I worked hundreds of drownings over
8 years and never got a boat. The problem with law enforcement is that civilians, that have never been in law enforcement, are in charge of a job they've never worked at. Eventually they even tried taking our police cars
and giving us golf carts instead. That's not a joke...it actually happened.
I quit and am no longer a cop.

Shannon McConaughey, Jacob and Randell Taylor and 3 others took her in 1998. They walked. Taylors had a friend destroy the evidence at the Sheriffs office. Then Crystal Soles disappeared, 2005, and then Brittanee Drexel in 2009. 1 year after Drexel went missing the Taylors and others were caught red handed trying to Kidnap another white female, Randa Massey, 2010. They walked again. Its disgusting .. Local Detectives threatened with arrest for doing their jobs, and finding the alleged 4 kidnappers. All good salt of earth Detectives removed off the case because they found out things they weren't suppose too. Detectives Rocky Burke, Chris Bailey and Vincent Dorio - threatened with arrest and removed off the case. ( ?? ) .. Why didn't the FBI work with Detectives like they usually do?? .. Other Detectives threatened also a year later.
In 2010 they removed 3 good Detectives. FBI did. A Task Force was
formed. In 2011 the Task force Detectives were also threatened with
arrest if they did their Jobs. They had read the original 3 Detectives
notes and seen the witnesses statements. When they to went to make
arrest the FBI stopped them too. Again threatened to arrest them like
they did the original 3 Detectives. ....How are you going to solve
Kidnapping Cases when the FBI does everything to ruin the cases??
The FBI we worked with 20 years ago were top notch professionals.
These FBI people in the McClellanville area made no sense at all.
Never heard of such behavior.
Their are some really good FBI men and women. However, what
happened in McClellanville, SC is unheard of. You are suppose to work
together. Not against the Detectives. These Agents in McClellanville, SC

An abandoned home that belonged to the family of a suspect in Brittanee Drexel’s disappearance burned down on Saturday evening.
FBI officials did not immediately respond to see if the property is one of the “stash houses” that was searched for clues to her disappearance.
The blaze was reported around 10 p.m. Saturday at 1819 Old Collins Creek Road in McClellanville, South Carolina, said Chief Mike Bowers with the Awendaw-McClellanville Consolidated Fire District.
The road is south of where federal and local investigators searched for clues in Drexel’s case in 2016.
Fire crews arrived to find the building engulfed in flames. Bowers said the house had no power and built 80 years ago.

Munoz said the FBI believes Taylor “showed her off, introduced her to some other friend that were there…they ended up tricking her out with some of their friends, offering her to them and getting a human trafficking situation.”

Investigators from three counties who have been working to find a missing New York teenager say they now have persons of interest in the case.
Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Neil Johnson said based on information that has been collected investigators feel Brittanee Drexel who was 17 years old when she disappeared from Myrtle Beach last year is no longer alive.
Johnson said investigators have “three and possibly four” persons of interest in the case. He said no other details about the persons of interest is being released at this time.
Johnson said there is no reason to believe the persons of interest knew Drexel directly.
He said lie detector tests have been administered to two of them.
Investigators from Horry and Charleston Counties are also involved in the case because Drexel’s last known whereabouts was at a Myrtle Beach hotel.

“She was constantly on the phone texting. Then it all stopped when she went missing,”he said. “It was like someone took the phone.”

make Arrest in 2010.
