Upstate man was killed Tuesday evening when a tree he was cutting fell on him ... When it's your time to go, It's time.



A 58-year-old Upstate man was killed Tuesday evening when a tree he was cutting fell on him, according to the coroner.
Abbeville County Deputy Coroner Sam Ferguson said Robert Blackston was cutting a tree on Branyon Road in Honea Path when the tree fell on him. Blackston was pronounced dead just before 9 p.m., Ferguson said
Ferguson said an autopsy on Wednesday determined Blackston died from blunt-force trauma to the head and chest.
