Deputies were called to a motel on Augusta Road, where deputies were conducting a follow-up investigation involving 32-year-old James Douglass Chapman. There are active warrants in Anderson County for Chapman’s arrest on an attempted murder charge.
Investigators found Chapman, who got inside of a dark-colored Jeep, deputies said.
