MOORER'S
HEATHER ELVIS
The man charged with kidnapping a woman who has been missing for more than two years says he doesn’t believe he can get a fair trial in Horry County.
Still, Sidney Moorer told The Sun News that he’s fairly confident the situation will end as it should and both he and his wife, Tammy, will be found not guilty.
Both face kidnapping charges in the disappearance of Heather Elvis, who was last seen in December 2013. Her car was found in Socastee.
He’s also charged with obstruction of justice. His trial is scheduled to start June 20.
