Raines, 33, of 107 Saluda Ridge, Greenville, was charged with murder in the death of Myranda Southern of Taylors, SC. Also Charged with Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.

Southern’s Body was found in a Laurens County field a week ago but not identified until Thursday. Body was badly Decomposed and the Gunshot through the Neck made it even harder. Raines was Arrested on Thursday night and was being held in Laurens Co. Jail.
Authorities believe the two began communicating online before meeting in person about a week before Southern’s Kidnapping / Murder.
Myranda Souther, a 31-year-old Mother of Two, was first reported Missing on Aug. 19 and was Last Seen Leaving Work in Simpsonville that Morning. She Worked Night Shift at the Charter Communications Building off I - 385. Main Building.
She was due to Travel to her Hometown of Zellwood, Fla., the next day to get her children, who had been staying with her mother during part of summer break.
She was Shot in the Back of the Neck. Her Body Dumped in a Field.

I went to school with Darrell a d never in a million years would I think he was capable of killing someone. It's so unbelievable!!
