I'll never think of myself as "wise beyond my years"... but I know this...

I'm not a guru or a safe by any means. I'll never think of myself as "wise beyond my years"... but I know this... not everybody is going to want to celebrate your little victories with you or be around to help you mourn your losses. in my experience, these can be done myself the way I see fit. It's okay to be alone in these events because they pepper our lives. As long as they are done. I'm not preaching but scripture even says there's a time for celebration and a time for mourning. It never says that everyone will be there for you while you do it. Just let it be done. Repress nothing. You're only as sick as your secrets, and I've noticed that's a pretty generic observation. Just do what you feel your heart, your mind, and your body agree is best for you. Who cares if you dance like Carlton from Fresh Prince to some 60's maltshop music in the privacy of your own bathroom while singing in a hairbrush microphone... you celebrated you. Who cares if you were drooling and sobbing in front of the tv with a bucket of cookie dough ice cream praying all the calories out alone because you lost someone or something dear... you mourned. Now you can move on. Never be ashamed of your feelings. Never be afraid of public opinion when it's your health and happiness at stake. Sooner or later, those that judged will realize you were doing the right thing for you.

Amen

Unsealed documents show video of a convicted kidnapper talking about her victim and new evidence against her husband who is also implicated in the crime.
Heather Elvis is a 20-year-old Socastee woman who disappeared in December of 2013. The case gained national attention and Sidney Moorer and his wife, Tammy, were convicted on charges of kidnapping. They are each serving 30 years in prison.
A gag order was issued over the case in March of 2014, so certain pieces of evidence weren't released to the public. ABC15 now has access to those pieces of evidence.

"She's not right. She's not normal. I look 20. I've partied with bands constantly. I wasn't that kind of girl and, believe me, I had the friends to make me that kind of girl and I didn't do it, so there's something not right with her," said Tammy.

Tammy speaks about her open marriage with her husband and states she is not bothered by him sleeping with other women, specifically Elvis.
"I have boyfriends. We have an open marriage. I could care less if he has sex with 100 people. I mean that doesn't really bother me," said Tammy.
In the interview, she also talks about the multiple phone calls made between Elvis and Sidney. Another piece of evidence is surveillance video showing Sidney inside a Walmart buying a pregnancy test. Throughout the case, it was implied Elvis may have been pregnant with Sidney's child.

Elvis's car was found by Peachtree Landing, in Socastee, and documents show Elvis' phone pinged off of towers near that area the night of her disappearance.
More evidence collected comes from the long-awaited arrest warrants for both Sidney and Tammy. The warrants state that there was enough probable cause to believe the two kidnapped Elvis from Peachtree Landing the night of Dec. 18, 2013.
We also have the text messages between Sidney and Elvis, that show a test from Sidney's phone saying, "Heather you wanted to speak to me earlier, you can call now," and Elvis responding, "I think you're a little obsessed with me."
ABC15 has over a dozen documents regarding this case that have never been released to the public. Our team is still working to go through them all. Check back for updates.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A McClellanville man once named a suspect in the disappearance of Brittanee Drexel will be sentenced next month for an unrelated crime.

Timothy Taylor is scheduled to be sentenced in federal court on Dec. 9 in a 2011 holdup of a Mount Pleasant fast food restaurant.

Taylor was accused of being the getaway driver in the robbery.

Federal authorities pursued charges against Taylor, hoping he would talk about Drexel’s disappearance. But Taylor maintained he was not involved in Drexel’s presumed murder. Drexel was 17 years old when she disappeared while walking outside a hotel in Myrtle Beach during spring break in April 2009.
