Spartanburg Man Guilty In Waffle House Robbery. Sentenced To 30 years In Prison. Got His Best Friend Killed.


Kenneth Jowan Craig reacts as the verdict is read, during proceedings at the Spartanburg County Courthouse on Thursday afternoon. Craig, 30, of Spartanburg, was on trial for several counts of attempted robbery and armed robbery in connection to a robbery at a Waffle House that left a second suspect dead. Craig was found guilty of all counts and sentenced to 30 years.
 Spartanburg man was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in Prison for his part in the Robbery of a Waffle House.
The Jury found Kenneth Jowan Craig, 30, Guilty of Two Counts of Armed Robbery, 11 Counts of Attempted Armed Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Violent Crime.
police say Kenneth Craig and Dante Lamont Williams, 19, of Roebuck entered the Waffle House at 2230 Chesnee Highway in the early morning hours of Jan. 21, 2012, and attempted to rob the restaurant. 
A Customer with a Concealed Weapons Permit Fatally Shot Williams, and struggled with Craig before Craig Ran Away from Scene.
This Young Man Should have been Charged With Murder Too. For His Partner
In Crime Was Killed At The Scene.
