I question the shooting only sort of. What would have been worse her being stopped then and there or a prolonged high speed police chase through a parking lot and city? She 100% was about to speed away. They might have saved an innocent life. Definitely sad situation.

Ta’kiya Young criminal actions got herself killed. Sad.

I don't understand this though. They're protesting #BLM because a women stole liquor, ignored cops and tried to get away while running a cop over with a car? Maybe if people weren't criminals the cops wouldn't be there in the first place.  

This is such a sad 100% avoidable situation. She shouldn't have stolen - and stolen so flagrantly - she should have just taken the hit and gotten out of the car - would be a misdemeanour. She shouldn't have driven into an officer who has a gun drawn. She had so many outs.

Stay in school, children, get an honest job and decide on a promising career. Don’t be like Ta’kiya Young was.

Idk, maybe don’t break the law and then try to run down a officer with your car and you won’t be shot at? She would literally still be here if she had complied, gotten out of the car and surrendered the stolen items.

Stop breaking the Law.

And no, stealing is not a reason to shoot at someone. But when you try to run down a police officer? He had every right to shoot at that point forward to defend himself.

A 3,500 lbs car is a deadly weapon. Period.
