Sidney Moorer First Parole Hearing Set for November 27 th.






Sidney Moorer convicted of Obstruction of Justice in the Investigation into the Dec. 2013 Disappearance of Heather Elvis is scheduled to have his First Parole Hearing on November 27.  
Sidney Moorer was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of Obstruction of Justice - August 2017.
The South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services, the parole board will meet in Columbia and hold a teleconference with Moorer from Lee Correctional Institution.
Sidney Moorer’s trial for the kidnapping of Heather Elvis in June 2016 ended in a mistrial. He was again Charged with Kidnapping and Conspiracy to Kidnap earlier this year. Along with his Wife. 
His Wife, Tammy Moorer, was Found Guilty on October 23, 2018 of Kidnapping and Conspiracy to Kidnap in connection with the Disappearance and was sentenced to 30 Years in Prison on each charge.
