Union Co. Man Found Dead Inside Of Jail // Robert F. Gregory //

An inmate at the Union County Jail was found unresponsive Friday morning. Shortly after 5 a.m.

UNION COUNTY, S.C.           

   An inmate at the Union County Jail was found unresponsive Friday morning.

Shortly after 5 a.m. officers at the jail attempted treatment while contacting EMS, however, both, were unable to resuscitate the 34-year-old male according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.

The Inmate has been identified as Robert Franklin Gregory, of Union.

Gregory was being held at the Jail for a  CDV Charge and was currently awaiting a Bond Hearing.

 The Death is Currently being Investigated by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and there is an Autopsy Scheduled for Sunday.
