Travon Mack-Haymond - Get's 15 Years In Shooting Death

Travon Mack-Haymond stands before Judge Cordell Maddox during his plea hearing on Monday. Mack-Haymond pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the 2011 shooting of Yusef Aquil Jenkins.

 A man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for the shooting death of a man in Anderson two years ago.

 19-year-old Travon Mack-Haymond pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter Monday.
Thirty-four-year-old Yusef Jenkins of Anderson was killed in March 2011.
 Mack-Haymond and Jenkins got into a fight outside a home in Anderson where the mother of Jenkins’ youngest child lived. Jenkins had stopped by to return the child’s car seat.
Mack-Hayward originally was charged with Murder.
He reached an agreement to plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
